Recommitting Through Service Romans 12:2; Ephesians 2:1-10

When committing ourselves to God, the old within us dies, and the new begins to grow because of his love shared through Jesus Christ. As a result, a new way of life emerges, on focused around good works. We need to “reset” through service because it teaches us how we’re called to care for others.

The studying of God’s Word helps us to find meaningful purpose for our lives, and it reminds us of our constant connection with Him. Scripture teaches and instructs us how to live, serving as our “life-manual.” We need to “reset” through scripture because it reminds us who and whose we are.

Recommitting Through Worship Romans 12:2; Psalm 146

The act of worship is opportunity to pause and give thanks for the many ways God is present and active in our lives. Unlike people in power and the materials things of this world, God cares for his people and commits to being alongside in meaningful ways. We need to “reset” through worship because it helps us to remember and reconnect with God, our Provider.
