One of the most important callings of every Christian is to share the love of Christ with others and share what God has done in our lives. Witness ministries allow us to do so.

Greeters help make Grace UMC a warm and hospitable place. We want everyone, guests and church family alike, to feel quite at home.

Guest Deliveries are a ministry of welcome to those who come see us for the first time. We respond to each family who comes as our guest to Sunday services with the delivery of a tote bag, goodies, and a smile.

Explorations Class is a five-week class for new families led by our pastor during Sunday School. There is no commitment just by coming, and we hope everyone who is exploring our church will come and learn about the Grace UMC vision! We meet in the pastor’s study (and overflow into the kitchen if our group is large!). Topics are:

• Our Stories and the Grace UMC Story
• The History of Methodism
• The Beliefs of Methodism
• The Mission and Membership of Grace UMC
• The Ministries of Grace UMC

Emmaus Walks are intensive experiences of spiritual growth for those seeking the next steps of a deeper faith journey. Pilgrims are sponsored by members of the Emmaus Community here at Grace UMC and go to Alabama Emmaus Community and New Covenant Community events. We are also active in Kairos ministry in prisons.

Music and Worship Arts are an always expanding group of ministries coordinated by a ministry team. More information about music can be found here.

Gracefull Players is a ministry of drama and sacred dance which is part of the special flavor of our congregation. We have monthly luncheons to plan upcoming vignettes in worship, our annual dinner theatre, and our annual Gracefull Players Sunday.

Altar Guild helps us to keep our space clean and ready for worship with seasonal cloths, banners, communion supplies, and candles.

Children’s Musicals involving elementary age children are performed for our annual Christmas Dinner.

Technology ministries are coordinated by our Technology Ministry Team, who is constantly seeking to improve our use of technology to share the love of Christ. They work on the web page ministry, office servers, sound and lights, etc.
